A music video I like:
I like the music video for Katy Perry's 'The one who got away' as I think it was a very creative idea how the video reflects onto the lyrics. Also the colour filters used in this music video make it very interesting as the past was shown in a yellow-ish filter which connotes hopen and happiness, whereas the present was shown in a blue-ish filter which connotes the theme of sadness and I think this idea was really clever. Also I liked how gradually the camera starts moving even more than usual when the situations are turned.
A music video I dislike:
The reason I don't like the music video for Lorde - Royals is because I think the video has no creativity. There is hardly any camera movements besides the beginning and the end when the camera is moving on the streets and also where you see a little but of hand held camera but other than that there no excitement. Also the video had little variety of camera shots where I felt that made me feel bored and not want to watch it.
